We make good decisions for the planet and its people

Precious materials such as gold, diamonds and gemstones take billions of years to form naturally within the earth. Mining takes a toll on our planet, our communities, and our health, The Gold Project believes that we already have an abundance of precious materials available to make stunning jewelry. We create future Heirlooms. Unique, authentic pieces that are inspired by the past and designed to be passed down to the next generation.

Let’s work with what we have

Feel good about your gold

For every ounce of gold produced, 0.8 Tonnes of CO2 is emitted into the atmosphere. Rather than extracting it from the earth, our 100% recycled gold is repurposed from existing jewelry. The refining process involves melting it down to its most pure and elemental form, attaining the same quality and exact composition as the day it was unearthed. Mining is an extractive industry and once the gold deposits on earth are depleted, they are no longer replenish-able. Recycling gold involves fewer chemicals and environmental destruction than mining new gold, helping to create a sustainable circular economy.

Mindful mining

For every carat of diamond extracted, an estimated 250 metric tons of earth is shifted by miners who make as little as $3 a day.  We strive to use 100% recycled materials including all precious metals, and gemstones. If sourcing new gemstones we source ethically; traded and produced in a way that is fair and safe on all levels. We ensure our suppliers are environmentally, culturally, politically and socially responsible.
